Black Tie all started in 1988 as a family business, and it has remained that way ever since. Founder Ting Insixiengmay immigrated to Minnesota in 1982, and began as a houseman for the Granada Hometels in St. Paul Minnesota. From the lobbies of the hotel, he was inspired by the professionalism and pride of the limousine drivers who greeted guests at the front door. He quietly began working towards a personal goal of driving one of those beautiful limousines himself one day.
That same passion led to the creation of 7 Limos in 2011, a company built on hard work, reliability, and genuine care for every client. As a single operator, he slowly built his fleet up from 1 car to 2, to 3, and onward.

Today we can boast that our service runs 24 hours, 365 days a year, and even has a nationwide presence since 2023.
